Review: Simple Brand Eye Make-up Remover

I like the idea of Simple as a Brand; they use pure natural ingredients to make gentle products for sensitive skin. The main reason I picked this over the others was that there are relatively few ingredients in their Eye Make-up Remover compared to other brands. This is what the website (www.simple.co.uk) says about it:

Pro-Vitamin B5 restores, softens and smoothes
100% oil free so no greasy residue
Opthalmologically tested so suitable for contact lens wearers

The remover is colourless, odourless and non-greasy; all-in-all it’s pretty bland which I like.

Unfortunatley, it’s so simple it’s ineffective. This will get off most eyeshadow but it takes a lot of product and a fair few wipes to get it all. It certainly doesn’t budge eyeliner or mascara. Boo. I really wanted to like it.

While the disappointment hasn’t completely put me off the brand, I will not be buying this product again.
